If your career goals include making a valuable contribution as aParts Counterpersonin an exciting and growing company and working with top professionals in the industry, then consider joining our team, We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, customer-oriented individuals who can work in a team environment as aParts Counterpersonbuilds sales by developing dealer and distributor programs and processing orders and directing customer fleet service repair into our service centers.
Responsibilities:
- Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements, specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information within a timely matter.
- Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
- Provides a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Locates out-of-stock parts from an outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six-plus months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Flexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays.
- Must have computer proficiency.
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Valid driver's license.
