Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical Oncology

Shift: Variable D/N, 7a-7:30p / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • OH License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • Chemo Certification required
  • Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum)
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification Oncology Certified
  • ACLS preferred
Other Details:

BMT(14 & 15W James) - Oncology - D/N OR NIGHTS - CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
Schedule: No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule. The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend. Must be flexible. Maximum 1-2 days RTO (Requested Time Off).
Experience: Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum)
Patient Diagnoses:• Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)• Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)• Amyloidosis• Aplastic Anemia• Chronic Leukemia• Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)• Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia• Hodgkin's Lymphoma• Multiple Myeloma• Myelodysplastic Syndrome• Myeloproliferative Disorders• Non-Hodgkin’s LymphomaSpecial Procedures/Unit Details:• Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells.• Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.• Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor.• CAR-T Therapy
Certifications Required:• Basic Life Support (BLS)• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy CertificationOncology CertifiedPreferred Certifications:• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Skills Required:• MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)• Telemetry monitoring• Interpretation of dysrhythmias• Use of Rapid Response Teams• Feeding tube care and management• Blood product administration• Central line blood draw• Peripheral line care/management• PICC line management• Nasal cannula administration
