12 James Surg Onc is a mixed acuity unit that cares for both PCU and Med Surg patients. This is a very busy surgical floor. All perm staff is PCU trained.

Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final scheduleFirst week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor

Special Procedures/Unit Details• Chemotherapy• Blood transfusions• IV Antibiotics• Oncologic emergencies• cytokine release syndrome• Insulin drips• Heparin drips• Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
