Currently, we are looking for a full time Scheduling Specialist for our W Alta location in Las Vegas.



Schedule needed: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm


ââââââPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Answering Inbound new patient calls and placing Outbound new patient calls from faxed referrals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



\tAnalysis of incoming referrals to place calls and perform accurate data entry into our EMR.
\tUnderstanding of Insurance benefits and authorizations for obtaining prior to scheduling if required
\tCollaboration, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Technical and Scheduling skills to assist patients with appointment time and date for Initial Evaluation and the 5 following visits.
\tThorough knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
\tAbility to organize and prioritize various demands.
\tStrong communication skills.
\tStrong customer service skills.
\tAction oriented and driven for results.
\tA self-starter and to work with minimal direction.
\tAbility to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Education: minimum high school diploma, college a plus but not mandatory if meeting experience requirements



Experience: at least two years of relevant work experience and the skills necessary for the position



Language: Bi-lingual / Spanish preferred



Physical Requirements and Working Conditions



Requires prolonged standing, sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
