GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This postion is responsible for performing a variety of duties in a physicians office setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Exemplifies compliance with all regulations and company policies.
    • Function independently with a high degree of integrity
    • Complete required training and certifications on time
    • Provides excellent customer service while interacting with customers to process prescription requests
    • Accurately loads insurance information into the computer, updates information, and completes data entry for each visit
    • Monitors and distributes faxes
    • Works any incoming patient messages to completion including documentation in the patients chart
    • Completes all projects or additional duties as assigned.
    • Tracks medications that need to be ordered and interacts with the patients regularly.
    • Covers as a Medical Assistant when needed
