Mind Vending Mental Healthcare LTD is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team as a remote therapist. In this full-time role, you will leverage your expertise in mental health counseling to help clients navigate their mental well-being through virtual engagements. You will take on responsibilities that include conducting initial assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and providing therapeutic sessions primarily through video conferencing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and intake interviews to gain an understanding of clients' mental health challenges.
• Create detailed, individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and therapy expectations.
• Provide ongoing psychotherapy services, utilizing evidence-based techniques to address a range of mental health issues.
• Engage with clients through video conferencing tools, maintaining professionalism and empathy in virtual settings.
• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner within Simple Practice.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, participating in team meetings and peer support for continuous improvement.
• Educate clients on mental health topics, coping strategies, and resources for additional support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including teens, adults, and couples, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive environment that fosters open communication, allowing clients to express their feelings and thoughts freely. By providing tailored therapy sessions, you will contribute significantly to improving their psychological well-being and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a mental health clinician (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is necessary; a Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, or Social Work is preferred.
• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in treatment planning and psychotherapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients and document interactions.
• Proficiency in telehealth practices and experience with remote counseling are highly appreciated.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with adolescents and couples in a therapeutic setting.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and familiarity with Simple Practice is a plus.
• A background in diverse therapeutic approaches and methodologies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
