About Us
Sela is a global cloud partner, dedicated to guiding our clients in their cloud journey. With deep partnerships across AWS, GCP, and Azure—and a growing practice at the intersection of cloud and AI—we help enterprises modernize infrastructure, migrate workloads, and build intelligent, resilient systems. Our team has over three decades of experience delivering excellence and thought leadership to clients. We take pride in our strong engineering culture, our drive for excellence, and our supportive team.
What We Are Looking For
We're looking for a Technical Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our existing customer base. This is a technical, consultative role focused on expansion rather than net-new logo acquisition. You'll serve as the primary commercial and strategic point of contact for a portfolio of accounts running on AWS, Azure, and GCP—understanding their environments deeply enough to spot where Sela can help next, and credible enough that customers bring you into their planning conversations. You'll work alongside our architects and engineers on active engagements, identify follow-on work, and make sure customers see continuous value. You're someone who genuinely loves technology, can hold a real conversation about cloud architecture, and builds trust with engineers and executives alike.
Responsibilities
Own the commercial relationship for a portfolio of existing Sela accounts, with responsibility for retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth
Develop deep technical familiarity with each customer's cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including their roadmap, constraints, and priorities
Identify and drive expansion opportunities across new service lines—migration, application modernization, DevOps, data, cloud operations, and AI/ML workloads
Partner closely with Sela's architects and delivery teams to ensure engagements are on track and to surface follow-on opportunities
Run regular business reviews with customer stakeholders, from engineering leads through executive sponsors
Serve as the customer's advocate internally, coordinating across delivery, cloud operations, and finance
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account plans in CRM tools
Support renewals of managed services and ongoing engagements
Bring customer and market insights back to the team to help shape offerings, particularly around AI and cloud-native workloads
Requirements
5+ years in a customer-facing role at a cloud services provider, consultancy, or systems integrator—technical account management, customer success, solutions consulting, or services sales
Strong working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with practical familiarity across the others
Ability to hold substantive technical conversations about cloud architecture, migration approaches, and modernization patterns without needing an engineer in the room for every call
Demonstrated success growing revenue within existing accounts
Comfort selling and scoping professional services engagements, not just products or licenses
Genuine passion for technology; able to build credibility with customer technical leaders, executives, and our own engineering team
Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on background in cloud engineering, architecture, or infrastructure prior to moving into a customer-facing role
Experience with data, AI/ML, DevOps, or cloud-native modernization projects
Familiarity with cloud reseller and marketplace billing models
Experience in a managed services environment
Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or similar)
Existing relationships within the AWS, Microsoft, or Google partner ecosystems
Based in the greater New York City area or greater Philadelphia area and available to occasionally work from our office space
Why Join Us?
Be part of a technical, high-integrity team working on meaningful cloud and AI projects
Own real customer relationships with the backing of a strong engineering team
Work across all three major clouds rather than being confined to one ecosystem
Help shape Sela's go-to-market as we grow our AI and cloud practice
Opportunities for growth as the team scales
