We help New Jersey businesses protect themselves from evolving cyber threats while optimizing their technology infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Our services include proactive IT management, cybersecurity protection, threat detection and response, cloud and endpoint security, and ongoing technology support.
With more than 22 years of experience serving New Jersey businesses and over 450 five-star reviews, Monmouth Cyber has built its reputation around responsive service, technical expertise, and long-term client relationships.
Our approach is straightforward: We take ownership of our clients' IT and cybersecurity environments so they can focus on running and growing their businesses.
About The Opportunity
Monmouth Cyber is looking for a proven Field Business Development Representative with MSP or B2B technology-services experience to help expand our in-person business development presence throughout New Jersey.
We are building a diversified growth engine that combines digital marketing, outbound prospecting, referrals, local visibility, strategic partnerships, and a dedicated field business development function.
This role will work directly with our CEO and sales team and will have the opportunity to help shape how Monmouth Cyber develops its field business development program as we grow.
This is not an entry-level SDR position.
We are looking for someone who already understands how to generate business opportunities for a managed IT services, cybersecurity, MSP, MSSP, telecom, cloud, or closely related technology company.
This is also not primarily a desk-based cold-calling role.
Our existing sales and marketing efforts already include digital marketing and remote prospecting.
Your responsibility will be to create opportunities that are often harder to generate remotely by getting out into the New Jersey business community, meeting people face-to-face, developing relationships, and opening doors.
You should be comfortable walking into businesses, meeting owners and executives, attending networking events, building strategic partnerships, and becoming a recognizable representative of Monmouth Cyber throughout the markets we serve.
We want someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, knows how to earn trust, and understands how to turn those relationships into qualified business opportunities.
Your primary performance goal will be to consistently generate qualified new-business discovery meetings.
We care about qualified opportunities, not simply appointments, business cards, or networking activity.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You will take ownership of Monmouth Cyber's local field business development activities throughout New Jersey.
