Overview:
As a Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in our marketing efforts, primarily focusing on community engagement playbook, social media management, and leveraging AI for content creation. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies, execute initiatives, and analyze data to optimize our marketing efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Create a Community Engagement Specialist Playbook:

Develop a comprehensive playbook outlining strategies and best practices for community engagement specialists within our organization.

Research industry standards and innovative approaches to community engagement to incorporate into the playbook.

Collaborate with team members to ensure the playbook aligns with the company's goals and values.

Research Community Outreach Events:

Identify relevant community outreach events and opportunities for our businesses to participate in.

Coordinate with local organizations and stakeholders to secure participation and sponsorship opportunities.

Provide recommendations for events based on target audience, brand alignment, and potential impact.

Elevate Social Media Presence for Southeast Businesses:

Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance businesses' online presence within our network.

Create engaging content tailored to each business's target audience and brand identity, including posts, stories, and videos.

Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner.

Consumer Fusion Transition:

Assist in transitioning to Consumer Fusion, our new consumer engagement platform.

Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and troubleshoot any issues.

Assist with training employees on how to utilize Consumer Fusion effectively for customer engagement and feedback.

Utilize AI for Social Media Writing:

Explore and implement AI tools for social media content creation and scheduling.

Experiment with AI-driven writing tools to generate compelling copy for social media posts, advertisements, and blog articles.

Evaluate the effectiveness of AI-generated content and adjust as needed to optimize engagement and conversion rates.

Research and Analyze Marketing Data:

Collect and analyze marketing data from various sources, including social media analytics, website traffic, and customer surveys.

Identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.

Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for improvement.

 

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.

Proficiency in social media platforms and a keen understanding of social media trends and best practices.

Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.

Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:
What YOU bring:

A service-oriented mindset

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or another related field

2+ years of experience working with WordPress, including making content, theme, and SEO updates

2+ years of experience working with paid Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Ads to drive higher conversion and ROI

Deep experience with metrics performance and an analytical approach toward tracking and optimizing results

2+ years of experience with brand guidelines and voice, employment brand beneficial

Personal drive and curiosity that fuels creative thinking and innovative ideas

Strong organization and time management skills - We serve multiple partners across the US.

Responsibilities:
Examples of projects YOU may lead include, but are not limited to:

Development of “Company Overview” and “Employer Profile” page design templates on various job boards (Indeed, Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn, Facebook)

Execution of national campaigns targeted to specific trade professional populations; methods include direct mail, email, digital advertising paid and organic, social media channels

Development of social media story boards to be used in building partner business social calendars

Development and management of Talent Marketing scorecards, focusing on the KPIs that matter most, and stack ranking our teams on execution

Maintenance and optimization of nurture and engagement messages to reduce funnel leakage from lead gen to hire
