In this position, you will assist the Survey Project Manager in the execution of various public sector survey assignments. You will work with other technicians and direct field crews to complete small and large-scale transportation projects.

 

Over the past several decades, WGI has delivered a variety of transportation projects including some of the largest and most complex interstate projects in the state of Florida. Responsibilities:
Coordination with field crews and other technicians to monitor project responsibilities

Right-of-Way and Property Research and Drafting

Processing of field survey data

Perform boundary analysis for route surveys

Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Strong technical skills, including experience with Microstation and/or Geopak

Experience with DOT survey requirements and procedures

Strong communication, writing and organizational skills

Strong experience in Right-of-way mapping is highly preferred

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Work is performed in an office setting.  Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse.  The use of a telephone headset will allow for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands/fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
