Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Temporary Registered Dietitian for MontCare Wheaton, a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility located just north of DC in Wheaton, Maryland. This is a long-term temporary position.  The Dietitian will provide clinical care to about 90 residents in long-term care and short term rehab units.  

The successful candidate will:

 

provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients;

meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;

be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;

represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or

support the food service operation as needed.

Registered Dietitian credentials and state licensure in Maryland;

strong verbal and written communication skills;

strong leadership skills;

the ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and/or

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
