Job Description

As part of the Communications team, the Communications Intern is a creative mind that will contribute to marketing and HR communications for the Americas for content, internal and external events, presentations, CSR partnerships, digital and social media, and product launches.

Responsibilities of this role will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Develop creative and project management skills by assisting with special initiatives such as video shoots, newsletters, and event planning

Work closely with an experienced marketing team for internal, external social and digital to learn about a wide range of marketing strategies

Ensure bulletin boards and all other communications tools are maintained with pertinent, up-to-date information

Support employee engagement activities and employee personnel events

Assist Communication Manager with updating online communication via online tools, some of which include internal digital signage (i.e. BrightSign), Intranet pages and email communications

Support with social and digital media content creation

Prepare, edit and proof stories for internal and external platforms, newsletters, etc.

Assist in preparing information and materials

Create PowerPoint presentations and Excel files, as needed

Support with department requests for edits, creating surveys, etc.

Manage databases and input information, data, and records
