The Senior Communications Consultant – Office of the CTIO – has the ability to take tactical content and turn it into stories through writing, PowerPoint presentations, video scripts, and executive communications, bringing the great work that our team of talented Technologists delivers to life through Town Halls, technology-wide communications, and videos. Reporting to the AVP, Executive Communications, this position will provide support for executive communications to the CTIO while collaborating with team members, vendor partners, and internal stakeholders to discuss ideas and help deliver on projects. You will also partner Social Media team to collaborate on weekly content for the CTIO. There will be a primary focus on developing compelling Technology storytelling through written communications, and user experience design, as well as engaging with our Productions team to bring these stories to life through videos, while staying on top of Technology trends and to help the team keep innovating, see a concept through delivery. Strong project management skills are required to help keep content and communication creation on track.


Tasks/Initiatives

  • Storyteller/Writer/Communications Coordinator
  • Deliver brand-aligned, engaging content through a variety of communication channels for internal and external campaigns. This includes conference events, thought leadership, video scripts, and more
  • Executive Communications and Internal Communications Support
  • Partner with Social Media team to collaborate on weekly content for CTIO
  • Assist with direction and coordination of video projects from concept through creation, including storyboarding, scripting, coordinating talent, working with designers and videographers, editing, and coordinating with stakeholders in the approval process
  • Write and/or edit scripts for videos, podcasts for CTIO’s Technology strategic story telling projects, events and more
  • Assist in creation of Show Flow and PowerPoint Presentations for Monthly Technology Town Halls
  • Track key dates and deliverables for the Technology Communications team
  • Assist with strategic direction of the Tech Hub – a one stop shop for all things Technology Communications
  • Coordinate studio times for CTIO and other key leaders within the Technology organization to record video messages to the broader Technology team
  • Plan and facilitate a communications calendar for the year that aligns Tech Town Halls and other video content to the overall Technology Communication strategy


  • Requirements:Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years professional experience in creative storytelling and compelling writing projects
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Executive Communications
  • Excellent design skills for creating content for various communication channels
  • Knowledge of creative communications through visual design or video production; communication/design tools to deliver interactive content and how they weave together to tell a story
  • 2+ years’ experience with project management to ensure delivery of work in a timely manner


  • Preferences:Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Writing, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field preferred
  • Strong writing skills and the experience creating thought leadership, scripts, presentations, or other marketing-type campaigns
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload in a rapidly evolving environment balance multiple projects at once
