Overview:

Responsibilities:
Perform required quality checks on parts and record on appropriate inspection sheets

File all completed quality records in designated storage areas

Identify nonconforming material; sort and rework if required

5S responsibilities include organizing guage room, disposal or parts and being involved with activities

Execute all job responsibilities in accordance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements

Actively participate in the quality process and incorporate zero defects standard in all work

Work within a team environment

 

 

Qualifications:
Minimum Education – H.S. Diploma or GED.

Close attention to detail required.

One or more years’ experience in the Automotive Industry.

Basic math, reading, comprehension and computer skills.

Computer literate; ability to use software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and

Effective communication skills

Ability to use proper tools and protective equipment to perform destruct tests

Ability to efficiently use basic hand measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, torque wrenches and scales.

Previous experience and/or education with an emphasis on quality is considered an asset

Good attendance

Acceptable score on Quality Skills test

History of good quality practice
