Overview:
The IT Governance Leader will spearhead the Information Technology Project Management Office, orchestrating the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects that support our manufacturing operations for distribution transformers. This pivotal role ensures projects align with corporate strategy, are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The leader will work closely with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to facilitate project prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in IT project management within a manufacturing context, exemplary leadership skills, and a keen ability to navigate complex project landscapes.

Responsibilities:
Establish and oversee the IT Governance strategy, processes, and policies to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Develop and implement project governance frameworks to ensure consistent project delivery, resource allocation, and risk management across all IT projects.

Implement project tracking and reporting mechanisms to provide transparency and up-to-date information on project statuses, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.

Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring they meet the scope, time, cost, and quality requirements.

Facilitate communication and coordination among project stakeholders, including IT professionals, business leaders, and external partners.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, budgets, timelines, and status reports.

Implement project management best practices and methodologies, such as Agile or PMBOK, to enhance project delivery.

Monitor and control project performance, identifying and addressing issues and risks proactively.

Champion change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes within the organization.

Manage the IT project portfolio, prioritizing projects based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic value.

Conduct regular project reviews/audits and post-implementation evaluations to capture lessons learned and continuously improve project management processes.

Oversee the development and training of the IT Governance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Evaluate and introduce project management tools and software to enhance project planning, execution, and collaboration.

Foster a collaborative environment within the IT department and across business units, facilitating communication and ensuring stakeholder engagement in IT initiatives.

Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication, updates, and strategic alignment on IT projects and priorities.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance in the execution of IT projects.

Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing performance to ensure value for the organization.

Advocate for the strategic role of the IT PMO within the company, promoting its contributions to operational excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's degree or advanced certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP) in project management is highly desirable.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO.

Proven track record of managing and delivering complex IT projects in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.

Experience implementing and managing PMO processes, methodologies, and tools.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving project and organizational goals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying risks and opportunities, and formulating effective strategies.

Adaptability and flexibility, with the capacity to navigate change and drive project success in a dynamic environment.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in both project management and technology trends.
