Overview:
PURPOSE STATEMENT:

This expert-level Senior Principal Integration Engineer will lead high-scale enterprise integration projects. It will provide technical vision and leadership for building complex integrations between a variety of on-premise and cloud platforms leveraging MuleSoft products and APIs.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Own architecture, design and development of end-to-end integrations in enterprise scale production environments

Evaluate current legacy integrations and develop strategic migration roadmaps using MuleSoft and Azure API management

Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of complex, business critical integration solutions

Lead a highly technical team of integration engineers to realize integration roadmaps

Define and maintain integration patterns, standards, security controls and operational procedures

Develop POCs and prototypes to uncover and demonstrate capabilities supporting integration solutions

Communicate progress, issues, roadblocks of integration initiatives to senior leaders

Contribute to technical roadmap based on emerging technologies and business needs

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field

10-15+ years of hands-on enterprise integration experience with a minimum 5 years using MuleSoft and RPA

5+ years of hands-on experience with using cloud platform (Azure preferred) infrastructure for application and service development, also deep working experience with Azure API platform

Deep expertise building highly-available integration applications on Mule runtime and MuleSoft Anypoint platform

Extensive experience with ANYPOINT APIs, ESBs, connectors and Anypoint Studio

Solid grasp of large-scale integration architecture patterns and messaging middleware fundamentals

Successful track record delivering complex, business critical integration solutions under tight deadlines.

Familiarity with artificial intelligence/machine learning and applications for self-operating systems

Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for business stakeholders

Experience working with Healthcare and Life Sciences organizations; knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR is highly preferred
