Job Description

Salary Range: $87,500 to $109,000 per year

Provide overall direction and management for the Ellenwood Hatchery. Responsible for the development of all employees including the management team. This role is responsible for ensuring the facility has a trained, proficient, well-motivated workforce that accomplishes meeting department goals on quality, yield, productivity, cost and safety.

Responsible for his/her hatchery and for meeting department goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity, cost and safety. This is accomplished through direct management at facilities.

Directly responsible for the development and training of supervisors and managers, working within the guidelines of good employee relations and company policies and procedures.

Responsible for the long-term strategy for optimizing utilization of both facilities based on projected forecasts.

Responsible for researching and implementing technologies to streamline process and positively affect both quality and cost efficiencies.
