Hatchery Incubator Attendant

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm.  Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between12:00am-4:59am)Essential Job Functions:Responsible for monitoring incubator and hatch machines; correcting problems with light maintenance work. Responsible for setting the right eggs as per the set sheet. Responsible for monitoring room temperature and humidifiers.Responsible for traying the correct eggs as per the set sheet, properly loading and unloading eggs and or chicks, transferring, sanitation, and fogging hatchery rooms. Good communication skills
written and verbal.Must have some mechanical aptitude to fix incubators, hatchers.Ability to repeatedly lift 35 pounds.Ability to bend, stoop and reach above head.Able to move full egg racks (on wheels) weighing approximately 1400 1600 pounds.Ability to use sanitation tools (i.e., power hoses, foggers).Must adhere to disease control policies.Must be certifiable to operate a pallet jack and/or forklift
