Overview of Responsibilities:
Collects bags of soiled linen from clinical areas.  Loads bags into carts. Returns loaded carts to soiled area to be sorted.

Sorts soiled articles according to type of treatment each will receive during laundering.

Loads pockets on conveyer belt according to procedure.

Loads and unloads delivery truck personally and secures heavy articles.

Weighs all loads coming in and makes sure poundage report is filled in accordingly.

Washes and returns empty linen carts to laundry when clean.

Assists in operating washroom machinery to include dryer and lint filters as necessary to maintain appropriate work flow.

Assists in the production of processing clean linen as necessary to maintain appropriate work flow.

Responsible for cleaning of work area.

Schedule Details:
PRN. Availability between 3am – 1pm.
