Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management to join our growing team This is a critical component of the Brightspeed Innovation team, leading a team of Product Managers and/or Product Owners responsible for the development, launch and lifecycle management of portfolio products and platforms for Mass Markets, Enterprise and Wholesale customers.

In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Product Innovation. You will have a proven track record for leading a team of Product Managers and/or Product Owners, through launching and managing the entire lifecycle of different products and/or platforms in the US market, maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability across the whole process (end-to-end).

You will be responsible for the execution of the plan of record (POR) for each product and platform within the portfolio and assigned to your team.

As a Senior Manager, Product Management, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Interact with business and technical stakeholders to identify needs, opportunities, and gaps; solve problems to ensure a quality, highly efficient outcome

Drive the process to ensure that priorities are properly defined, documented, and communicated across your team and with the corresponding business stakeholders for all initiatives

Lead the innovation agenda for the product portfolio, actively recommending new products and features

Actively recommend changes to existing products with the objective to continuously improve User Experience and Customer Experience, both for Brightspeed employees and customers

Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, IT, Marketing, Network, Operations, Finance, Service Delivery, Service Assurance, and other stakeholders, as needed, to define priorities, assign resources, and lead specific initiatives, among other tasks

Collaborate with Project Managers and Program Managers to maintain an up-to-date status of all initiatives, assign deliverables, tasks and priorities within your team, review and produce project plans for specific initiatives, and ensure alignment with the plan of record (POR) and in-year objectives

Review, prepare and understand product requirements for new initiatives for Mass Markets, Enterprise and Wholesale market segments

Drive the process to ensure that product requirements are groomed and turned into actionable Jira tickets and technical requirements for software developers and network architects

Drive the process to ensure that each initiative is properly taken through intake, approved, funded and prioritized, including its associated business case (when required)

Collaborate with vendors and different teams to evaluate, test, qualify and select technological solutions associated to product initiatives

Collaborate in developing long term business plans and each year’s budget for the product portfolio

Participate in meetings with customers, vendors, events and other internal and external activities as required to contribute to promoting the Brightspeed brand and its products and understanding the needs of customers from different segments
