Control Engineer

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement control systems for chemical manufacturing processes

Troubleshoot and maintain existing control systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including technical specifications, operating procedures, and maintenance schedules

Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on control system operation and maintenance

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in control system technology, and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in control engineering, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of control systems and programming languages such as PLC, DCS, and SCADA

Experience with process control and instrumentation, including PID loops and control valves

Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for chemical manufacturing

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
