Overview:
At NV5, we value our team members and are seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer I for our downtown Raleigh office.

While Raleigh area candidates are preferred, we also offer the flexibility of remote working.

Responsibilities:
This individual will:

Provide engineering support, gaining knowledge of various construction materials and systems

Collaborate on multiple projects with other engineers, ensuring quality control procedures are implemented

Be responsible for adhering to schedules and budgets for each project, demonstrating their attention to detail and team orientation

Strong communication skills are desired

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

1-4 years of structural experience

A BS or master’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a focus on structural engineering

An EI certification (passed the FE exam)

A working knowledge of Revit is a plus
