Minimum Position Qualifications:

Master’s in Social Work or closely related degree from an accredited college.

Five (5) years’ experience in Social Work/Counseling field including supervisory experience.

Prior experience in mental health program supervision, development and oversight required.

Independent licensure in Kentucky (LCSW), LPCC or LMFT with supervisory designation, Medicaid eligible.

Strong leadership, management and problem solving skills.

Strategic and fiscal planning skills and abilities.

A highly effective and skilled communicator.

Must have a current driver’s license and driver’s insurance.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Demonstrate proven sensitivity to the various cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of Children’s Home clients and staff, including a commitment to use of
the Sanctuary Model and to the philosophy of All Children, All Families framework of cultural competencies.

 

Position Summary:

The Outpatient Services Program Manager – Grant County is responsible for the clinical oversight and programming of all Outpatient Services at CHNK Behavioral Health Grant County, as well as the leadership of the associates working at that location.   The Program Manager must be knowledgeable of the Trauma Informed Care, clinical process, diagnoses, and medications and be able to train others to ensure clients are making therapeutic gains.  The Manager is responsible for keeping the Vice President of Outpatient Services informed of significant events/situations within these programs.

 

Essential Job Functions:

A. Supervision and Training (35%)

Direct responsibility for supervising the staff within the Outpatient Services – Grant County division.

Enables and supports staff to perform their responsibilities and develop their skills providing leadership, supervision and annual evaluation.

Builds staff capacity to navigate and comply with the MCO and insurance processes.

Compiles group/on call/and case consultation schedules.

B. Clinical Oversight and Quality Assurance (35%)

Knowledge and use of the Sanctuary Model of trauma informed care. Use of the S.E.L.F. framework in service delivery as well as adherence to, and modeling of, the Seven Commitments when interacting with others and conducting one’s self.

Oversee the clinical components of the Grant County Center programs, including intake and discharge process and ensuring treatment needs are being adequately addressed.

Provides licensure supervision for licensed staff across all programs, as allowed by licensure boards.

Schedules, attends and documents clinical and consultation meetings. Reviews clinical assessments, treatment plans and other documentation for clinical appropriateness, progress and discharge planning. 

Attends treatment team meetings and monitors the clinical progress of the clients.

Maintains current programs in accordance with agency mission, policy and procedures, and ensures program compliance in accordance with state regulations and accreditation standards.

C. On Call and Case Coverage (10%)

   10. Participates in Community services on call rotation, and assists with case coverage across programs as needed.

D. Other Duties

   11. Represent Department at Clinical and Leadership team meetings

   12. Attends required trainings as assigned.

   13. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the VP, Chief Programming Officer or CEO.

 

Physical demands and work environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, kneel, squat, and hold objects or carry.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
