Observation Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

CTTX Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Observation Unit team. As an Observation Unit nurse, you will play a crucial role in the assessment and monitoring of patients who require short-term observation and evaluation.

As an Observation Unit nurse, you will assess patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Assess patients' condition and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop appropriate care plans.

Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide basic nursing care.

Collect and document patient data and maintain accurate medical records.

Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Communicate with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an observation unit or similar setting.

Current BLS certification.

Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
