Job Description

The Senior Consultant of Acceptance Solutions strategy will be a key member of North America Acceptance Solutions Product Office, which is accountable for financial and operational performance of Acceptance Solutions in North America.  This role will specifically be responsible for working with the head of the product office to understand the acceptance ecosystem in North America and key trends impacting its evolution, developing a strategy for how Visa can best develop a sustainable competitive position in this ecosystem, and help identify key go-to-market partners and potential M&A opportunities.  This individual will also work closely with other leaders across the team to understand client needs and drive prioritization across the organization.  This position can be based in the San Francisco Bay area or the New York City area and some travel will be expected.

Specific responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining a view of Visa’s acceptance strategy in North America

Building and maintain a robust perspective on how the acceptance ecosystem is evolving, including key trends, major sources of uncertainty, disruptive changes, regulatory impacts, etc.

Performing ongoing competitive intelligence to understand how Visa is positioned compared to other players in the space

Supporting Voice of the Customer activities to better understand how our clients view our offerings and corresponding opportunities

Leveraging all of the above to identify priority verticals, segments, and / or use cases to prioritize sales, development, and partnership activities and develop corresponding business cases

Collaborate with venture teams, corporate development teams, global strategy teams, and product teams to align the North America acceptance strategy with other enterprise priorities (and vice versa)

Support broader enterprise in articulating acceptance solutions strategy (e.g., marketing, external speaking arrangements, sales materials, etc.)

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
