Serving the residents of Warren, Butler, and Southern Montgomery counties for over 40 years.
Kettering Health Miamisburg, formerly Sycamore Medical Center, is a full-service hospital located minutes west of the Dayton Mall on Miamisburg-Centerville Road off I-75 in Miamisburg, Ohio.
The cornerstone services for KH Miamisburg have been Bariatric surgeries and Orthopedic care.
Expanded services include emergency care, sleep center, mammography, breast MRI, cardiac catheterization lab, wound center and DEXA scanning.
142 bed facility
Awarded with 100 Top Hospital by IBM Watson Health for the 10th time in 2019.
In 2020, KH Miamisburg received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.
Accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric Emergency Department.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the physician and/or practice manager the Medical Assistant, assists and delivers patient care duties, and provides administrative support throughout the practice.
This individual is also responsible for:
Participating in the examination process
Safely handling medical equipment and instruments
Electronic medical records
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma
Within one year from date of hire, continued employment will require successful attainment of MA, RMA, CCMA, CMA (AAMA) or NCMA
May be hired with six months of experience as a STNA, Nursing Assistant or PCA but are not able to administer medication or enter Epic orders until competency demonstration has occurred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must either have six months experience as a Medical Assistant, OR, have graduated from an accredited MA or Medical Office Management program that meets nationally accepted standards.
Basic computer experience required
Able to perform work in open area with many interruptions by patients and staff
Demonstrates a caring and positive attitude to patients, visitors, and staff
