Kettering Health Washington Township

Kettering Health Washington Township, formerly Southview Medical Center, has served the South Dayton, Ohio suburbs including Centerville, Kettering, West Carrollton, Moraine, Miamisburg, Springboro, Bellbrook, and Waynesville for over 40 years.

KH Washington Township is a 123 licensed-bed hospital and medical campus that is conveniently located off I-675.  

Our full-service hospital includes maternity care, emergency services, hand trauma center, and specialty services located within the adjacent medical offices. 

In 2020, KH Washington Township received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.

Received 5 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Responsibilities:

Strategically partners with campus leadership, consulting on operational issues such as labor utilization, metrics, labor dollar utilization, planning, budgeting, productivity, succession planning, recruitment, retention and engagement, leadership mentoring, new service line development, regulatory labor compliance, employee, patient and physician satisfaction; job description management; department and organizational structure.

The HR Leadership Partner role at GMH will spend 50% of their time as an HR Leadership Partner and 50% of their time as a volunteer coordinator

Must have a strong working knowledge of all major functional areas of HR, especially in labor law and regulatory compliance. Strong problem solving, and dispute resolution as well as excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to function

Preferred Qualifications:
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience may be substituted for education. 

Three years of related work experience required, to include employee relations, conflict management, and program coordination.

SHRM or PHR certification is preferred
