Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures.  He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures.  He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations.  The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.

 

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  Current AL RN License.

BLS, PALS, ACLS required.Call required. Must be within 45 minutes of hospital.
