SBA Senior Relationship Mgr

Contribute to the profitability and growth of Fulton Financial Corporation by originating SBA loans and building, developing and managing new and existing client relationships and generating attractive sources of fee income. Coordinate, originate and structure Small Business Administration loans appropriate to the needs of the client. Provide direction and referrals to other bank services to build and expand client relationships. Annually assigned the highest tier of sales goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop prospective customers by understanding their business to better identify their current needs, future goals, and financial situation to identify and recommend solutions to fit their financial service needs. Utilize Bank proposal system to share the Fulton's story and showcase the bank’s products, services and employees. Continuously identify quality borrowers eligible for the Small Business Administration program and provide high quality customer support throughout the process. Identify and Review new business opportunities through relationship and multiple channels of contacts and referrals.
Create value add experiences for clients and prospective clients. Entertain clients, prospective clients and Circles of Interests in an acceptable manner that builds rapport, trust and creditability. Active participation in sales oriented meetings and functions with colleagues, Fulton Partners and Senior Management, i. e. Team prospect meetings, Partner meetings, Sales Rallies.
Participate in annual relationship reviews when appropriate to understand client’s needs and future plans in order to identify appropriate loan, deposit or other financial service opportunities. Utilize the Bank proposal system to provide value added options to clients. Facilitate prompt, courteous and satisfactory problem resolution. Take proactive, appropriate measures to retain loan and deposit balances, when desirable
Foster a collaborative Team approach with other areas of Fulton to enhance client relationships. Exemplify the reputation of Fulton with the delivery of a superior customer experience. Participate in joint calling efforts for existing and prospective customers with other areas of the bank.
Ensure compliance with all Small Business Administration programs, policies and procedures. Gather and review all required financial and related company, industry, management data to determine if the applicant meets SBA eligibility requirements and underwriting standards. Participate in portfolio management related activities as required to monitor ongoing credit worthiness and risk rating accuracy, address line renewals, loan maturities, delinquencies, exceptions, in a timely and efficient manner. Participate in loan committees when required as a Permanent member, Alternate member or presenter.
When required, participate in establishIng action plans for troubled credits and or work with Special Assets Department to resolve problem loans in an efficient manner to protect the bank’s investment. Timely and proactive management of loan databases, Watch list reports, Asset Quality reporting as directed by Senior Management. Timely resolution to loan documentation and technical exceptions. Compliant with all regulatory and bank risk compliance matters Small Business Administration, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending, Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation B, Regulation O, Regulation Z.
