Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Supervises Parking Compliance team.

Orients, trains, and provides on-going support and feedback to staff to ensure that program standards are maintained and that the workload is handled effectively.

Maintains records and prepares reports of Parking Compliance Associates' daily activities to include citations issued.

Reviews tickets issued and daily officer reports.

Interprets and applies parking regulations and fire codes.

Responds to calls and complaints involving parking violations; authorizes and requests towing service to remove vehicles parked illegally and/or causing hazardous conditions.

Writes and issues parking citations.

Directs the public in the proper use of parking facilities.

Observes parking and traffic conditions, taking appropriate action to identify, report and eliminate hazardous conditions.

Provides information to faculty, staff, guests, and patients/visitors on the university campus.

Performs all duties associated with Parking Compliance Associate as necessary.

Coordinates staff schedules and special events coverage.

Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or equivalent and four years of related experience which includes one year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.

May require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.

Some positions in this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop and twist.

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
