Manager, People Analytics

Human Resources Analytics tells the stories of Talent at H-E-B through People data. We deliver analytical solutions to support Partners’ careers and Leaders’ talent needs and provide predictive insights to prepare HR for the future. As Manager, you will manage the Analytics Team, oversee projects, communicate data findings, and lead new initiatives.

What is the work?
Management:
· Manages the work of the Partner Analytics team, including recruiting and professional development
· Coaches H-E-B Partner Analytics team in their projects, development of data visualizations, programming, problem-solving and consulting skills
· Promotes use of modern and emerging analytical techniques such as predictive modeling, program evaluation, and other statistical modeling
Analytics:
· Acts as strategic interpreter of Partner data at H-E-B
· Uses data to create compelling and actionable data stories to share with key stakeholders to drive decisions
· Leads the design and development of people analytics ranging from metrics to predictive capabilities across the employee lifecycle
· Manages prioritization of analytics requests and provides leadership with visibility to Analytics roadmap
· Ensures HR Business Partners are enabled with the data needed to help their leaders integrate analytic information into decision-making and evaluation of their businesses
· Defines and refines methods for employee surveys and reporting
· Demonstrates exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive data
· Ensures data and analysis quality and accuracy
· Provides visually compelling presentations of analytic studies to influence adoption of data-driven People decisions
· Combines multiple HR data sources (demographics, compensation, engagement, performance, etc) to analyze patterns and causal relations to build predictive models and suggest areas for process improvement
What is your background?
· A Graduate degree in related field, or Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience
· Experience in managing / leading a team of analysts
· 6-8 years of experience in an advanced analytics role at senior or leadership level
· Passion for data and communicating insights in a visually interesting and captivating way for broad audiences
· Experience analyzing Talent Management data preferred
· 6+ years of experience using statistical software packages (R, Databricks, Python, Tableau etc.)
· Experience with Workday reporting, integrations and/or Prism preferred
· Familiarity with enterprise data and data engineering
· Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as logistic and linear regression modeling, clustering, sampling, decision trees, etc.
