Summary:
The Die Cutter Operator is responsible for the safe set up and operation of the die cutting equipment within the department. The individual ensures conformance to all health and safety policies, rules and regulations and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, quality and efficiency requirements at all times.

Responsibilities:
Summary of essential job functions and responsibilities:

Verify customer specifications for each product using computer system.

Check set up of pins and blankers for new jobs according to customer specifications.

Check quality continually ensuring standards are met or exceeded.

Perform quality checks prior to sending product to the Finishing department.

Operates machines to transport product within and between departments.

Troubleshoot and maintain die cutting equipment as required.

Responsible for knowing equipment lockout, tag out procedures.

Record production data as required (paperwork and on computer system).

Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required.

Ensure safe and efficient set up and operation of the die cutting equipment.

Balance cutting pressure.

Qualifications:
The Die Cutting Operator must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and verbal instructions in English for safety, ISO, AVP, and work-related tasks.

Must be capable of keeping accurate records, including the completion of all required forms, and the accurate use of different meausring devices, and all other applicable gauges for your responsibilities.
