The Enrollment/Nursing Director is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing both the enrollment process and nursing services within an adolescent behavioral health residential treatment facility. This position requires a dynamic individual who possesses a blend of administrative, clinical, and managerial skills. The Enrollment/Nursing Director will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure the seamless admission of adolescent teens into the facility while also maintaining high standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities:
Enrollment Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment strategies to attract and admit adolescent teens in need of behavioral health services.

Collaborate with referral sources, including health-care providers, social service agencies, and educational institutions, to streamline the admission process.

Oversee the admissions team to ensure timely and efficient processing of intake assessments, insurance verification, and consent forms.

Conduct thorough evaluations of prospective residents to determine their suitability for the facility's programs.

Maintain accurate records of enrollment statistics, trends, and outcomes.

Nursing Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulations.

Recruit, train, and supervise nursing personnel, fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes teamwork and professional growth.

Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to the unique needs of each resident, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Monitor the delivery of nursing services to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and protocols.

Coordinate with health-care providers and specialists to optimize the health outcomes of residents, including medication management and treatment interventions.

Quality Assurance:

Establish quality assurance processes to assess and improve the effectiveness of enrollment procedures and nursing care delivery.

Conduct regular audits, evaluations, and reviews to identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in service delivery.

Stay abreast of industry trends, research findings, and regulatory changes related to adolescent teens behavioral health and nursing practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate closely with other department heads, including clinical, therapeutic, and administrative staff, to ensure interdisciplinary coordination and integration of services.

Serve as a liaison between the facility, clients, families, and external stakeholders, fostering open communication and addressing concerns promptly and effectively.

Participate in treatment team meetings, and committees to facilitate care planning, coordination, and decision-making.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or License Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of California.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in health-care, preferably in a behavioral health or residential treatment setting.

Strong understanding of adolescent teens behavioral health disorders, trauma-informed care principles, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, drive organizational change, and achieve performance goals.

Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft 365.

Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
