The Role

 

We are looking for a Registered Nurse of PharmD to serve as our Unblinded Pharmacist on a number of our clinical research trials. This is an integral member of the team and is the backbone of every study in which an unblinded person is needed at the site level. 

Type: Full-time; 30 hours per week, fully benefitted

Schedule: 3 days per week, 10-hour shifts (specific days to be decided upon with chosen candidate; will be throughout the week)

Reports to: Site Director

Pay: $50-65/hr

 

 

Responsibilities:
 

Delegate creation of Site Blinded Plan; review and sign off once completed

Review study pharmacy manual sheet

Meet with team prior to start of study to review procedures

Receipt, storage and monitoring of IP

IP preparation, thaw time if applicable, needed materials, and IP preparation/process

Discuss Unblinded pharmacist timing needs for verification of IP preparation, study dependent

Recommend when verifications are needed at specific steps within the plan

Per pharmacy manual, work with unblinded team to document administration times

 

Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse or PharmD Pharmacist in the state of Oregon

Comfortable with not having patient interaction

Flexible and adaptable

Attention to detail and passionate about patient safety
