Responsibilities:
Responsible for securities supervision of registered representative agents and agent team members including all responsibilities necessitated by regulation and directed by SFVPMC

Facilitates established compliance and risk mitigation programs identified by project lines and business areas at the agent office level, including but not limited to securities related issues

Ensure application of proper internal operating controls and adherence to Company and departmental policies within area of responsibility

Provide advice and expertise to agents to help identify specific deficiencies, and provides education and oversight

Maintain good working relationships with Agency Field Leadership team, Agents, and market area Leadership while maintaining appropriate clinical distance

Addresses Agent issues/risks related to sales and service activities, which may include creating corrective action plans, and engaging agents in self-discovery conversations to achieve quality resolutions

Develops and administers recommendations on agent and licensed staff agreements, sponsorship, registration, and suspension

Applies broad business acumen, knowledge of State Farm products, and agent office systems to support agents in meeting Enterprise expectations

Functions with high level of autonomy and influence

Demonstrates confidence, reason and judgment in decision-making and maintains appropriate communication with key stakeholders

Incumbency: This position will have a 12-month incumbency period for a lateral move (beginning on the effective date of the position) which must be met before the employee can post for any other State Farm position. The incumbency period does not affect the at-will relationship between State Farm and the employee and does not create an employment contract, nor contractual rights.

 

Hybrid Proximity Work Arrangement:

This is a "Hybrid Proximity" position, which means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend time working in an assigned office location, in agent offices, and from their home.

Non-Hub Location - Territory is within the Eastern Market Area. Possible office location includes Pittsburgh, PA or surrounding areas within an approximate 80 mile radius of the Pittsburgh area may be considered. 

Relocation benefits will not apply

Qualifications:
Incumbents must possess and maintain the SIE, S6TO, S63 and S26 registrations

Candidate will be subject to a Credit Check if selected.

Job requires incumbent to travel to Agent offices and other State Farm business locations

Some travel may occur via commercial transportation; however, the employee’s personal vehicle (and mileage reimbursement) will be the primary mode of travel

Must maintain a valid license to lawfully operate vehicles as directed/requested by State Farm

May work irregular hours
