A Brief Overview
 

The Manager, Talent Development owns all associate and leadership onboarding and development programs including Safelite orientation, onboarding tools & resources, leadership onboarding and core training classes.  They champion development planning efforts, targeted career pathing and unique leadership development programs. They are responsible for the training component of talent building programs and serve as the primary contact for our global partners in correlation to the above-mentioned programs.  They will manage all aspects of each workstream to include project planning, scope, content creation, time, cost/budget, vendor relations, metrics and communications.  They will coordinate the operational aspects of all programs to include class offerings, marketing, facilitations, cost, etc.  This role reports into the Director, Talent and Development.

What you will do

Lead and oversee core programs: orientation, onboarding, and leadership training.

Develop operational and communication plans to boost program visibility and engagement.

Drive personalized coaching, specialized leadership programs, and talent-building initiatives.

Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, partners, and global counterparts.

Establish and refine KPIs and talent metrics for continuous program enhancement.

Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contribute significantly to global strategies.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Required

4-6 years of experience in associate/leadership development

Previous experience planning major projects

Willing to come onsite (Columbus, OH) as needed - Likely 1x / month

Builds strong relationships with People Business Partners, global stakeholders, and key leaders.

Thrives in complexity, leveraging curiosity to find clarity and solutions.

Analyzes talent metrics to identify opportunities and implement solutions.

Manages multiple activities concurrently with ease.

Skilled in crafting change management plans for supporting initiatives.

Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal abilities.

Exhibits problem-solving skills and a keen learning aptitude.

Maintains emotional stability in ambiguous or stressful situations.

Capable of overseeing all facets of talent leadership: hiring, performance management, development, etc.
