Responsibilities:
This is responsible work in the operation and administration of a storeroom. An employee in a position allocated to this classification is responsible for receiving, recording, storing, and issuing a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies, including those of a specialized nature; maintaining records and accountability for store items; servicing and maintaining equipment; and recommending the purchase of equipment and supplies. Work is performed under the supervision of a higher level employee who issues instruction regarding matters of policy and reviews work for achievement of desired results; checks incoming materials for quantity and quality against invoices or purchase orders reporting discrepancies to a supervisor; issues supplies on approved requisitions; prepares and maintains a perpetual inventory system for all storeroom and laboratory supplies and equipment; assembles, packs, and arranges for transport all stored goods and materials; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of clerical and/or storekeeping, stocking, or related experience.
