Overview:
Summary Statement:

 

The Supervisor of Workforce Management is responsible for supporting the Manager of Workforce Management in daily operations, departmental strategic direction, and all Human Resource duties. The role is key in leading the Workforce Management Reps in their daily and weekly duties, as well as facilitating growth and development in the team. This role is key in making crucial decisions on staffing based on business demands. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Resorts World policies and procedures.

Job Duties:
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

Manage the daily departmental operations of Workforce Management.

Make data driven decisions of add/ reduce staff based on business volumes.

Support the manager of Workforce Management in all aspects of the role.

Lead and mentor scheduling coordinators through weekly scheduling process.

Ability to analyze data by departments and Finance and ensure appropriate staffing levels are met.

Identify opportunities and create scheduling solutions for departments based on current business demands as well as exceptions.

Collaborate with property leaders to ensure accurate staffing levels and to formulate efficient strategies.

Adjust staffing needs based on special events, large reservations, casino tournaments while maintaining compliance with scheduling to include departments covered by collective bargaining agreements.

Establish best practices to enhance staffing while following current labor agreements.

Ensure ethical and equity issues are identified and managed in the scheduling process.

Provide guidance and support to department teams around scheduling, labor and leave management.

Determine the balance between optimum scheduling, service expectations and current legal/legislative requirements.

Analyze scheduled vs. actual labor throughout the business to identify trends in business activity.

Complete schedules and all assigned job duties timely and effectively.

Work as a team completing and adjusting daily schedule operations, such as leave requests and call outs.

Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.

Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:
Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Polished appearance and demeanor.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Fluent in more than one language.

Previous experience with scheduling and forecasting software.

Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

At least three years of data analysis experience in a similar or related field.

At least two years of labor scheduling experience.

At least 18 years of age.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
