Overview:
The Senior Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content across various channels to effectively communicate our brand message, promote our services, and educate our audience. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop strategic marketing campaigns and ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all communication channels. A strong background in healthcare copywriting, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are required.

Responsibilities:
Develop clear and persuasive copy for marketing materials, including but not limited to: website content, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, print collateral, advertisements, and press releases.

Collaborate with the marketing team, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

Conduct thorough research on healthcare industry trends, best practices, and competitors to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligns with organizational goals.

Translate complex medical and healthcare concepts into accessible and engaging content that resonates with various target audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.

Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Stay up-to-date on developments in healthcare regulations, policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance in all marketing communications.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to junior copywriters and assist in their professional development.

Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative briefings, and strategy meetings to contribute ideas and insights that drive innovation and excellence in marketing initiatives.

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data and insights to optimize content strategies and improve engagement and conversion rates.

Serve as a brand ambassador by maintaining a deep understanding of our organization's mission, values, and goals, and effectively communicating them through all marketing communications.

Qualifications:
Education:                             

Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience:                           

Minimum of 8 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Enthusiastic team player with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including executives and stakeholders.

Proven track record of creating compelling, high-quality content for diverse audiences and channels.

Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, regulations, and compliance standards

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop and Illustrator and/or InDesign is a plus. Marketing and CRM applications: Monday, Bynder, HubSpot, and Salesforce also a plus.
