Job Summary:

We seek an Office Manager/Paralegal with a strong legal background and technological proficiency to enhance our team's efficiency and effectiveness. This role demands a professional capable of managing operations, embracing new technology, and maintaining high standards of legal service delivery in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal procedures, case management and the ability to facilitate a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage office operations, ensuring practices align with the firm's strategic goals and uphold our commitment to client service excellence.

Lead the adoption and management of new legal technologies and systems, such as Smoke Ball, to improve case handling and document management.

Coordinate with vendors and oversee technology integrations, enhancing operational effectiveness and service delivery.

Guide and mentor the paralegal team, promoting a culture of professionalism, continuous learning, and alignment with the firm’s objectives.

Implement strategies to foster a collaborative work environment, optimizing both in-office and digital workflows to maintain high service standards.

Develop and execute digital and social media strategies to enhance the firm's visibility and client engagement.

Apply critical thinking to resolve operational challenges, streamline procedures, and support the firm’s growth and efficiency.

Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners, ensuring a responsive and client-focused practice.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

An Associate's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Alternatively, if an Associate's degree is not held, significant past work experience will be considered.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in a legal setting, emphasizing legal operations and technology implementation.

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing staff and fostering a team-oriented environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing cultural competency and sensitivity to interact with a diverse clientele and workforce effectively.

High proficiency in legal office software and technologies, especially case management and remote collaboration, including proficiency with Smoke Ball.

Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and organizational efficiency.

A commitment to professional development and staying current with legal technology trends and best practices.

Onsite: This position primarily requires in-office attendance to facilitate close collaboration with the team and more effective handling of client and business needs.

Flexibility Options: Depending on the candidate's skill level and the specific requirements of the role, hybrid or remote work arrangements may be considered. Occasional travel to the office will be required for meetings, client engagements, or as business needs arise.
