About The Role
The HR Manager at KARM Stores is a pivotal leadership position within the Team Services department, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Team Services, the HR Manager will support the organization’s mission by fostering a healthy, compliant, and people-centered workplace. This role involves managing daily HR functions, including onboarding, employee records management, HR systems, and compliance oversight, ensuring that all processes align with organizational goals and legal requirements. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to organizational leaders and team members, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce development. A core aspect of this position is promoting a Christ-centered, servant leadership culture by modeling integrity, accountability, and professionalism. The successful candidate will be instrumental in strengthening organizational effectiveness, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives. Qualifications
• 35 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
• Working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS systems, and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to interpret HR data and recommend improvements.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR. Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
• Manage onboarding, employee records, HR systems, and personnel documentation to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure HR processes are timely, efficient, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to enhance HR service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Partner with leaders across departments to support recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and team members on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Support compliance with federal and state employment laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
• Assist in investigations, coaching, corrective actions, and terminations, exercising sound judgment and confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, develop insights, and recommend operational improvements.
• Collaborate on leadership development initiatives and support continuous professional and spiritual growth within the team.
