Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Paxton, MA, responsible for managing and servicing personal insurance accounts. Day-to-day tasks include responding to client inquiries, processing policy changes, handling renewals, and supporting clients through claims and coverage questions. The role involves preparing quotes, reviewing policies for accuracy, and ensuring timely follow-up on all client requests. The Account Manager collaborates with agency leadership to maintain strong client relationships, identify coverage needs, and support agency growth. This position requires consistent, professional communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications
• Client service and relationship management skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Organizational and administrative skills, such as managing multiple accounts, maintaining accurate records, and following structured processes.
• Basic insurance knowledge and the ability to learn product lines, policy forms, and coverage options; prior experience in property and casualty insurance is a plus.
• Proficiency with office software and agency management systems, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to review policies, identify coverage gaps, and help clients understand their options.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment and to interact respectfully with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
• State insurance producer license (or willingness and ability to obtain one within a defined time frame, with agency support). Benefits
