About The Role
We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our growing team at Noatum Logistics. This role is focused on expanding our air freight client base throughout the United States by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and delivering customized logistics solutions that support our customers' supply chain objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in international air freight forwarding and a proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts. Experience with ocean freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and broader supply chain management solutions is highly valued; however, the primary focus of this position is the development and growth of air freight business. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven sales professional who can collaborate across our global network to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and strengthen Noatum Logistics' position as a leading provider of international logistics solutions in the U.
S. market.

Key Responsibilities
• Support Noatum Logistics USA's growth by developing new air freight business opportunities while expanding customer utilization of ocean freight and supply chain management services.
• Develop and maintain customer-specific business plans to exceed margin and volume goals.
• Understand and communicate current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that increase company margins.
• Communicate and coordinate directly with internal teams to develop and execute business development strategies for new and existing customers.
• Report on performance as required, providing insight into changes in customer performance and market impact factors.
• Manage business development programs as assigned to promote business between specific countries and/or product offerings. What We Are Looking For
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and 3PL services.
• Proven track record of developing new business and expanding existing business within ocean freight, air freight, and supply chain management services, including strong closing skills.
• Proven success growing air freight business and developing strategic customer relationships within the U.
S. market, with Midwest experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the international freight forwarding and supply chain management industry and existing customer relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong desire to improve Noatum Logistics business performance and contribute to the growth of Noatum Logistics' products, services, and brand within a multinational environment.
• Experience using CRM systems and customer call cycle planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, databases, and related business applications.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to speak two or more languages is considered a plus. Physical Requirements
