Overview Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Premium Club Food & Beverage Expeditors to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Expeditor, you will be responsible for for quickly responding to orders within the club seats. The primary role will be expediting food and beverages for the Premium Club. This will involve closely communicating with the kitchen, to ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. • Flexible work schedules Unit Description Delaware North purchased the historic Boston Garden in 1975 and later constructed its successor, TD Garden, and neighboring The Hub on Causeway, both of which we continue to own and operate. As New England’s largest sports and entertainment arena, TD Garden is the home of the storied NHL’s Boston Bruins and NBA’s Boston Celtics franchises and hosts over 200 events annually with over 3.5 million visitors. Responsibilities
• Attend pre-shift briefing, taking note of relevant information including service scheduling, organization, food and beverage, guest notes, etc.
• Fulfill food and beverage orders as quickly as possible.
• Communicate with the kitchen and inseat runners on orders and product needed.
• Be prepared to answer guest related questions on menu items.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients and preparations; be able to identify menu items and ingredients by appearance.
• Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and management. Be able to perform opening, mid and closing duties as outlined by management.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization at all times. Qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience or training as an expediter with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume preferred.
• Basic knowledge of beers, wines, and cocktails.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform opening, mid and closing duties as outlined by management. Physical Requirements
• Constant standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
