Key Responsibilities
Menu Development:
Design and maintain a creative menu that pairs well with the bar’s drink offerings.
Incorporate seasonal ingredients and trends while meeting customer preferences.
Food Preparation & Quality Control:
Prepare high-quality, consistent food items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all dishes are served promptly, maintaining portion sizes and aesthetics.
Kitchen Operations:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and food storage.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Management:
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during service.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and efficient work environment.
Cost Management:
Monitor food costs and minimize waste while maintaining quality standards.
Collaborate with management to adjust menu pricing as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a bar or similar setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting and creating innovative dishes.
Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
