A growing organization is seeking an organized, customer-focused HR Administrator to support daily Human Resources operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in HR while gaining exposure to employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, compliance, and HR administration.

Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and requests.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation scheduling, and new hire paperwork.
- Process employee status changes and support benefits and leave administration.
- Coordinate HR communications and employee engagement initiatives.
Employee Relations & Support
- Deliver outstanding customer service to employees and managers.
- Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and policy interpretation.
- Support employee recognition, wellness, and engagement programs.
- Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Support recruiting activities and onboarding for new employees.
- Assist with training coordination and learning & development initiatives.
Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and workforce metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Assist with HR audits, recordkeeping, and documentation.
- Provide support for payroll, compensation, and benefits administration as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within Human Resources.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, or recruiting.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of labor relations or union environments.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certifications.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
