Regulatory Reporting Director

OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Reporting leader to assist with the creation of critical reports, including Call Reports and Y-9C filings, for a major financial institution. This individual will serve as a key contributor and potential successor to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and deadlines. This is a contract role with potential to go full time. This role is hybrid onsite and can sit in either Charlotte or Winston Salem, NC ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the preparation and submission of Call Reports (FFIEC 031/041) and FR Y-9C filings.Coordinate end-to-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory standards.Assist in managing stakeholder relationships across Finance, Risk, and Regulatory teams.Provide guidance to reporting staff; act as escalation point for complex issues.Support regulatory exams and audits, delivering clear documentation and responses.Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls within the reporting function. QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Reporting within large financial institutions.Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory filings (Call Reports, Y-9C, FR Y-14, etc.).Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
