Senior Accounting ManagerManufacturing client with global headquarters located in the Chicago suburbs has a new permanent opportunity for a Senior Accounting Manager. Company is seeing strong growth, organically, through acquisitions and new products. They are a high-quality manufacturer, committed to environmentally focused products and processes. The Senior Accounting Manager will work on a broad range of accounting work to support the business and strategy decisions. The Senior Accounting Manager will assist with technical accounting matters, acquisitions, ME, QE, YE close, financial reporting and lead a team of Senior/Staff accountants. This is a broad role that will also gain exposure to M&A work, purchase accounting, integration of acquired companies, work on non-accounting projects, and deliver executive reports for internal/external leadership. Company is performing very well, offers excellent leadership, great work perks, and a family type culture.Hybrid work, 3 days in office with flexibilitySalary: Approximately $140,000 to $170,000 + Bonus - based on experience.Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Manager: Lead ME, QE, YE close, preparation of financial statements Review reconciliations & calculations including for Revenue Recognition and Lease Accounting Lead global consolidation of financial statements Review management financial reports, including financials for Private Equity leadership Function as SME for technical accounting matters Research and implementation of new accounting standards and policies Lead purchase accounting work, consolidating acquired companies and integration of financials Analyze opening balance sheets and actual working capital from purchase agreements of acquisitions Ensure appropriate allocation of purchase price adjustments and accurate acquisition costs in financial statements Assist with stock compensation calculations Lead audits and act as liaison with external auditors ensuring GAAP compliance Assist with process improvements, ERP Implementation, and system integrations Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Manager: Bachelor's in Accounting CPA Current/Prior Public Accounting experience 5+ years of Audit/Accounting experience Progressive experience that includes Supervisory Strong data analytics and math skills Strong presentation skills Highlights of the Senior Accounting Manager position: In acquisition mode, and growing organically, doubling in size Promotion paths, company rewards individuals for their work Exposure to M&A work, purchase accounting, PE firm, investors, executive leadership A top supplier in the US in their industry, financially stable, PE owned, strong financial backing, performing well Tremendous opportunity for professional growth, exposure and new experience in numerous areas Assist with numerous projects / implementations Work independently, great leadership, great people Work/life balance, flexibility, family culture #INNOV2025 #LI-SL3
