Job Title: IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) Manager Location: Roswell, GA) Duration: 12 Months Position is hybrid- onsite expected 2 days/week in Roswell, GA Skills needed: Ability to present to high level stakeholders Great communicator Thick skin Ability to operate in a hectic environment and play both good cop and bad cop Experience working with Guidant/Client/DTS to keep all programs in line Experience with VMS implementation (e.g., Coupa) Background as an IT Procurement Specialist with VMS experience is ideal Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing the governance, performance, and strategic alignment of IT vendors Acts as the primary liaison between internal IT stakeholders and external vendors Drives value through effective vendor relationships, risk management, and cost optimization Key Responsibilities: Vendor Governance & Strategy Develop and maintain vendor management policies, processes, and performance frameworks Align vendor strategies with IT and business objectives to support digital transformation and operational efficiency Contract & Compliance Management Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements Monitor compliance with security, privacy, and risk mitigation standards Performance Monitoring & Reporting Implement vendor scorecards and dashboards for performance tracking Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide actionable insights to leadership Financial Oversight Manage vendor budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and consolidated billing processes Identify opportunities for savings through rate benchmarking and competitive bidding Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the single point of contact for vendor-related escalations and issue resolution Collaborate with procurement, legal, and IT teams to ensure seamless vendor onboarding and offboarding Technology & Tools Drive automation and process improvements for vendor lifecycle management VMS Implementation experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred 7 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or supplier governance Strong knowledge of VMS tools (e.g., Coupa) and IT service delivery models Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC, ISO) Core Competencies: Strategic thinking and problem-solving Relationship management and communication Financial acumen and cost control Risk management and compliance expertise
