Summary The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This includes ensuring regular server backups and maintaining system security to prevent unauthorized access. The Systems Administrator ensures that all hardware, operating systems, and software are in alignment with organizational standards and HIPAA compliance. Duties & Responsibilities Configure hardware including workstations, printers, servers, and tape devices. Schedule, plan, and execute system upgrades including test-to-production transitions. Recommend hardware and software upgrades based on usage and capacity trends. Automate administrative tasks using scripting tools such as Batch, VBS, or PowerShell. Perform and monitor system backups and recover data when necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBS, and Batch Scripts. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues. Citrix XenDesktop administration. SAN and/or NAS administration. Microsoft Exchange 2010 administration. Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2008. System backup and recovery strategy experience. Why Join Esse Health?
